We are so excited to be able to now offer Equine Sports Massage Therapy to our current clients and future clients.
Massage is a non-invasive therapy that has increasingly become incorporated into the total health care regimen of equestrians horses. This therapy provides needed relief to our animal athletes that give so much, and ask for so little in return.
Benefits of Sports Massage:
- Enhances muscle tone and increases range of motion
- Assists in balancing the body by treating the body as a whole, rather than each individual part
- Reduces inflammation and swelling in the joints, thereby alleviating pain
- Promotes healing by increasing the flow of nutrients to the muscles, and carrying away excessive fluids and toxins
- Creates a positive effect on the contractual and release process of the muscles. When tension is released, muscles relax
- Stimulates circulation by "defrosting frozen muscles", thereby releasing endorphins - natural pain killers - Improved circulation also increases the excretion of toxins through the skin
- Helps maintain the whole body in better physical condition
Our goal is to keep your horses happy, feeling good, and loving their job!

FJS Quarter Horses is proud to introduce its new addition to not only our family, but Aberdeen Stables family as well.
Trooper is a 13 year old Quarter Horse that LOVES to run barrels! He is like a big ol' puppy dog. He likes to be brushed and loved on. The only thing he is not fond of is when someone walks up fast behind him. He tends to get a little scared when that happens. Otherwise, he is quite content.
Franceska will ride him at the major IBRA races this season. Kelsey, one of Franceska's lessons students, will also ride him at the NPHA races and for the 4-H shows. Kelsey and Trooper hope to make it to 4-H states this year. We will be rooting for them!
Welcome Home Trooper!

Our next 4-H meeting will be held on Saturday, May 7th at 2:00pm. The meeting will be held in the lounge at Aberdeen Stables.
At this meeting we will finish our books and get them ready to submit to the fair. Two of our members will present their projects to us. If everything runs smoothly we should be able to get some hands-on time in the barn.
Hope to see ya'll there!

One of our lesson students, Louis, had to say good bye to not only his champion barrel horse, but his best friend. Blaze was a once in a lifetime horse that will never be forgotten by any who knew him. He gave his heart every time he set hoof in the arena. He was truly a horse that loved his job and his owner. My prayers go out to Louis, Blaze, and the entire Tylutke family. May your hearts rest at ease that Blaze is in a better place where he can run free and watch over "his boy", Louis. R.I.P Blaze, We will love and miss you always.
